This is a new line of Pono ukuleles, made with solid Ohai wood, or monkeypod. The grain and colouring is similar looking to koa and other acacia woods. The tone is gentle and harp like.

Pono Ohai ukuleles are made with solid wood, rosewood fretboard, bone nut and saddle, and Grover tuners. We have set and restrung this uke with Aquila strings.
